PaaS Leader Executing Aggressive Global Expansion in Response to Strong Market Demand
SAN FRANCISCO – January 12, 2012 – Engine Yard, the leading Platform as a Service (PaaS), today announced the appointment of Dixon Fiske as senior vice president of worldwide sales. In his new role, Fiske will be responsible for leading the company’s global sales organization as the company supports the increasing demand for PaaS solutions.
An industry veteran with over 20 years experience in the IT industry, Fiske previously served as vice president of worldwide sales for Nimsoft, a cloud and datacenter monitoring company, which he scaled from $30M to $100M in three years, setting the stage for CA's acquisition of the company in 2010. His career also includes leading HP Software's $660M Americas Corporate Sales Division, one of the largest inside sales organizations in the industry. In addition, Fiske held sales roles at Mercury Interactive, DoubleClick, Oracle and AT&T.
