Additional Funding to Accelerate Penetration of Ruby on Rails into the Enterprise
SAN FRANCISCO, October 8, 2009 – Engine Yard, the leader in Ruby on Rails automation and management technologies, today announced that it has secured $19 million in its third round of venture capital funding, bringing its total funding to date to more than $37 million. The Series C round includes new investors DAG Ventures, Bay Partners, and Presidio Ventures (a Sumitomo Corporation venture investment company). Previous investors Benchmark Capital, Amazon.com, and New Enterprise Associates also participated in the latest financing round.
